What Houston is

Houston is a coding agent that runs on your own machine and works inside a single project folder.

• Your models. You bring the model connection: your own API keys, or a model running locally.
• Real tools. It reads and edits files, runs shell commands, searches code and the web, and works with GitHub.
• You decide what runs. A permission system sets how much happens without asking you first.
• Desktop or terminal. It ships as a desktop app and as terminal clients.
