Plugins

Drop a JS file in .houston/plugins/ to register observational lifecycle hooks for logging, metrics, or notifications:

houston.on('onToolStart' | 'onToolResult' | 'onUserMessage', fn)

• Opt-in. Plugins are local trusted files (the same trust model as hooks, agents, and skills) and run only when you've opted into project plugins for that project.
• Isolated. Each runs in its own context with no require, process, or network.
• Observe only. A plugin can't block or change a call; use a PreToolUse shell hook for that.
• Can't break a run. A plugin that throws or runs slowly is caught and ignored.
